HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid

This nationally accredited first aid training course will provide participants with updated knowledge and skills in first aid.

Audience: Primary care health professionals and support staff

Online Theory Component
Online learning takes approximately 3 hours to complete. If you are just renewing your certificate, completing it shouldn’t take too long.

Online learning will be emailed out from webmaster@everydayfirstaid.com.au, within 24 hours.
Do not leave it to the last minute to complete the online learning. DO NOT FORGET TO PRINT YOUR COMPLETION CERTIFICATE, SIGN IT AND BRING IT TO THE COURSE WITH YOU!! Students who do not bring their completed online learning certificate with them will not be permitted entry to the course.
Please note that if you’re booking multiple people on, we require unique email addresses for EACH person. Our online learning links are tailored to each person so we may track progress, and we’re unable to send online learning more than once to the same email address.

Hands-on Practical Training
6 hours of hands-on, practical training with an instructor with a healthcare background.
Each candidate must be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin on the floor.
Each candidate must be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an infant manikin placed on a hard surface.

You will receive a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by The First Aid Group RTO 32268 in the following:
HLTAID001: Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID002: Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID003: Provide First Aid

From 1 January 2018, you must have a USI to be issued with a statement of attainment for any Nationally Recognised Training. To obtain a USI visit www.USI.gov.au and click on ‘Create a USI’.

Times:

• Registration 1.30 pm
• Start 2.00pm
• Finish 8.30pm

Cost: $120 + booking fee – meal provided (Value $20pp)
